Shawnee began her show career in style at the age of 7 months taking a 4 point major during the Pittsburgh Regional Specialty weekend in July 1998! At the Standard Schnauzer National Specialty in Detroit, Michigan in August 1998 she took 1st place in the 6 to 9 month puppy class with an entry of 6. She grabbed a 5 point major at the Western Pennsylvania Kennel Association, Inc. This win was for Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite and was easily accomplished by defeating the specials there. She quickly went on to complete her championship. Shawnee has accumulated some very prestigious BOB, BOS and Group wins as a special. On Saturday, June 24, 2000 Shawnee took her first Group 4 at the South Hills Kennel Club show in Finleyville, Pennsylvania! On Saturday, August 12, 2000 Shawnee took a Group 3 at the Carolina Kennel Club show in Greensboro, North Carolina! She won another group 4 on Saturday September 30, 2000 at the Monroe Kennel Club show in Monroe, Michigan.

Shawnee was a first time mommy on November 11, 2002 to a beautiful litter of 2 boys and 4 girls. After a break, Shawnee was back in the conformation ring as a special taking Best of Breeds while three of her kids finished their championship titles. Her daughter, Spirit, is now turning heads and taking some very prestigious BOB/BOS with limited showing.

On September 25, 2004 Shawnee had her second litter of 5 puppies. A couple of these puppies have already hit the show ring. Willow was awarded Best in Puppy Sweepstakes at the Regional Specialty held at Old Dominion Kennel Club on October 2, 2005. Moses is also a specialty winner!

To date, Shawnee boasts of three champions, Bo, Sprit and Moses. . .with Willow and Barend on their way. We are proud of Bo and Spirit finishing out of the Bred By Exhibitor Class. Barend is also being showen in this class.
