January 2008 - The Preston and PJ puppies are going to their new homes. Click on the names of the new puppies from the 11/09/07 litter for pictures in their new homes.

January 5, 2008 - CH Himmlisch Furst Magic Moment "Magic" (Bennie and YD son) and Luis won a first award of Merit in a "Best Junior Handler" competition at the Land O'Lakes KC show in St. Paul, MN! Along with that nice award was a $50.00 certificate from Onofrio dog shows to be used toward future entries. Congratulations boys!!!

January 11, 2008 - Cedar Hills Dynasty "Star" (Preston and PJ daughter) was WB at the Tacoma KC show earning a point. She now has two points toward her championship. The other two days, in Puyallup, WA, Star went reserve.

January 13, 2008 - Columbine State Poodle Club, Inc. (Castle Rock, Colorado)
Himmlisch View of the Cosmis, RA, OAP, OJP, CGC "Nova" (Aaron and YD son) made his debut in the
excellent rings. Nova earned his first Excellent Jumpers leg with a first placement, a perfect score and a time of 31.11 seconds on a 46 second course!
INT/AKC CH Himmlisch Cosmic Ocean, RA, OAP, AJP, CGC "Madison" (Aaron and YD daughter) earned her
third Master Jumpers leg with a first placement, a perfect score and a time of 32.56 seconds on a 47 second course!

January 19-20, 2008 - CH Himmlisch Furst Magic Moment "Magic" (Bennie and YD son)
was Best of Breed both days at the Central Iowa Kennel Club shows in Des Moines, Iowa.

January 19-21, 2008 - Longs Peak Dog Training Club (Greeley, Colorado)

Announcing two new RE (Rally Excellent) titles. . .
Himmlisch View of the Cosmis, RA, OAP, OJP, CGC "Nova" (Aaron and YD son) made his debut in the Rally Excellent A ring. Saturday Nova earned his first leg and a first placement. Sunday Nova and his sister Madison had a tie score and Nova took second place and his second leg! Monday Nova earned his title and a third placement! I am so proud of my sweet boy, Nova!
INT/AKC CH Himmlisch Cosmic Ocean, RA, OAP, AJP, CGC "Madison" (Aaron and YD daughter) made her debut in the Rally Excellent A ring. Saturday Madison earned her first leg and a fourth placement. Sunday Madison and her brother Nova had a tie score and Madison took first place and her second leg! Monday Madison earned her title and a second placement! I am so proud of my eeeegaddy Miss Maddy!

February 2, 2008 - Texas
INT/AM CH. Hartgersotten Roz V Chalcy, NA, NAJ "Roz" (Aaron and Tempe daughter) earns her first leg in Open Standard Agility with a score of 100 - first place. Standard Course Time (SCT) was 72 and she ran it in 68.43.

February 9, 2008 - Texas
INT/AM CH. Hartgersotten Roz V Chalcy, NA, NAJ "Roz" (Aaron and Tempe daughter) earns her second leg in Open Standard Agility with a score of 100 - first place. Standard Course Time (SCT) was 67 and she ran it in 63.74.

February 17, 2008 - CH Himmlisch Furst Magic Moment "Magic" (Bennie and YD son) and Luis won first in Junior Handling at the Keomak Kennel Club show in Des Moines, IA. This is their second winners leg for Luis. Then it was on to the Breed ring where Jon and Magic took Best of Breed (number 11!) and a nice look in the group ring.

February 15 - 18, 2008 - Cedar Hills Darling Greta "Greta" (Preston and PJ daughter) makes her ring debut at the Plum Creek and Colorado Kennel Club Shows in Denver, Colorado. She does a FANTASTIC job winning her class the first day and taking reserve winners bitch! We are so proud of Greta.

February 15 - 18, 2008 - INT BIS - INT/NAT/AM CH v Schonhaven-Himmlisch Preston (Aaron and PD son) "Preston" attends the Plum Creek and Colorado Kennel Club (CKC) Shows in Denver, Colorado. He was Best of Breed the first three days and Best of Opposite the last day. On Sunday CKC hosted Owner/Handled Groups and Preston took a GROUP 2 !!!

February 23, 2008 - Texas
INT/AM CH. Hartgersotten Roz V Chalcy, NA, NAJ "Roz" (Aaron and Tempe daughter) earns her first leg in Open Jumpers With Weaves with a score of 100 - third place.

March 1, 2008 - DRUM ROLL PLEASE . . .
Himmlisch Magnificent Moment "Maggee" (Bennie and YD daughter) earned her third leg in Novice Standard Agility with a FIRST PLACEMENT at the Belgian Tervuren Club of Southern California's Agility Trial. She is the first in the MOMENT litter to earn a performance title ! Congratulations to Arnold and Maggee on their NA !

March 1 and 2, 2008 - DRUM ROLL PLEASE . . .
INT BIS - INT/NAT/AM CH v Schonhaven-Himmlisch Preston (Aaron and PD son) "Preston" earns
two new International Championship titles (Ehrenklasse and Ehrenchampionatsklasse) at the 2008 Rocky Mountain Winter Sieger in Loveland, Colorado. He received four V-1 rankings, four Best of Breed wins, 2 GROUP ONE wins, and 1 GROUP TWO win ! Preston then went on to win the GOLD CUP BEST IN SHOW . . . and . . . BEST IN SHOW for show 4. Preston is the first Standard Schnauzer to win a Gold Cup Best in Show !!!

was Best of Breed both days at the Southeastern Iowa Kennel Club shows in Ottumwa, Iowa. Magic and Luis also took first place in Novice Intermediate competition in Junior Showmanship.

was Best of Breed at the Waterloo Kennel Club shows in Waterloo, Iowa.

May 3, 2008 - Mountain States Dog Training Club (Brighton, Colorado)
Himmlisch View of the Cosmis, RE, OAP, OJP, NFP, CGC "Nova" (Aaron and YD son)
earned his first leg (first time in the ring) toward his CD with a score of 181.5!

May 10, 2008 - HIT's CH Geistvoll Zephyrs Wild, UDX, RAE, AX, AXJ, OAP, OJP, NF, CGC
(VX's) (HCT) (NADAC - NAC, NJC, NGC) (ASCA - UD, RS-N, JS-N, GS-N) (ABHA - HCT) "Zimmer" (Aaron and Tracey son) earned his second UD title today. . . an ASCA UD ! This brings the number of individual titles to 29. Zimmer needs three more RAE legs for his RAE2.

HIT's Himmlisch Aurora B Geistvoll, UD, RAE, OA, OAJ, NF (ASCA CD) (Aaron and YD daughter) "Halley" boasts of 13 individual titles - 12 AKC and 1 ASCA thus far.

May 10-11, 2008- Canadian CH. Himmlisch Gemini R Geistvoll, Canadian CDX, AIOC/American CD, American RA, CGN "Gemma" - (Aaron and YD daughter) Gemma and her Mum Llie were in their first CKC utility trials this weekend. Gemma qualified on Saturday with a high in class. . .and she qualified on Sunday too! She has 2 legs toward her UD title.

May 10-11, 2008 - Cedar Hills Degen Von Eisentor "Degen" (Preston and PJ son) was Reserve Winners Dog on Saturday in Albuquerque, NM. On Sunday, Degen was Winners Dog and Best of Winners for a 4 point major ! He now has 7 points (1 major).

May 10-11, 2008 - Cedar Hills Darling Greta "Greta" (Preston and PJ daughter) won the 12-18 month class both days in Albuquerque, NM. This was Greta's first show road trip and she did a great job.

May 10-11, 2008 - INT BIS's/Gold Cup BIS - multi-INT/AM CH v Schonhaven-Himmlisch Preston (Aaron and PD son) "Preston" attends the Rio Grande Kennel Club shows in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was Best of Breed both days with an entry of 13 Standard Schnauzers! Preston also took a GROUP 3 on Saturday under Dr. Ralph Graff!!!

Himmlisch Magnificent Moment "Maggee" received an EXCELLENT ranking on her hips.

weekend of May 23, 2008 - Canadian CH. Himmlisch Gemini R Geistvoll, Canadian CDX, AIOC/American CD, American RA, CGN "Gemma" - (Aaron and YD daughter) Gemma had an almost on her third utility leg carrying a 194 until she got distracted on the signal exercise. Next trials are June 8. In Rally Obedience Gemma passed all four trials with two 100 scores and the others were 97 scores. She was high in class and also received a third placement.

May 23-26, 2008 - Prairieland Standard Schnauzer Club Regional Specialty weekend
during the Illinois Valley KC Club of Peoria and Corn Belt KC Club shows - Bloomington, IL

Saturday - Cedar Hills Darling Greta "Greta" (Preston and PJ daughter) was Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for her first 5 point major the day before the Regional Specialty! There were 13 class bitches and 8 class males.

Saturday - INT BIS's/Gold Cup BIS - multi-INT/AM CH v Schonhaven-Himmlisch Preston (Aaron and PD son) "Preston" was Best of Breed the day before the Regional Specialty. There was an entry of 29 Standard Schnauzers!! Preston went on to take a GROUP 2 !!!

Sunday - at the Regional Specialty, Cedar Hills Darling Greta "Greta" (Preston and PJ daughter) was Best of Opposite Sex to Best Junior in Sweepstakes in puppy sweepstakes!

Sunday - at the Regional Specialty, "Preston" was awarded Stud Dog with the help of his two beautiful girls Cedar Hills Darling Greta "Greta" AND Cedar Hills Enchanted Yellow Rose "Ellie" (both Preston and PJ daughters).

Monday - CH Himmlisch Furst Magic Moment "Magic" (Bennie and YD son) and Luis won first place in Junior Showmanship Novice competition. This is their third - first placement - and now will move into Open competition. Congratulations boys!!!

May 30-June 1, 2008 - Flatirons Kennel Club - Longmont, CO

Cedar Hills Espirit Breckenridge "Breck" (Preston and PJ son) made his debut in the show ring winning the Puppy Dog class both days and taking Reserve Winners Dog.

Sunday - Cedar Hills Darling Greta "Greta" (Preston and PJ daughter) was Reserve Winners Bitch.

Sunday - CH. HSS Geistvoll Great Moments "Drake" (YD and Bennie son) was Best of Breed with an entry of 9 Standard Schnauzers.

June 1, 2008 - CH Cedar Hills Deb's Dyna Wide Glide "Dyna" (Preston and PJ daughter) attended the Arequipa Peru dog shows with "dad" Thom. The details are a bit sketchy at this point but Dyna received three ribbons and a champion certificate. It seems that Dyna was Best of Breed. . .2nd in group. . .and 4th out of the 55 other dogs. We'll update more when we get a handle on how Peru does dog shows.

June 3, 2008 - Madison and Preston are going to be parents!

June 7-8, 2008 - Colorado Springs Kennel Club - Colorado Springs, CO

Saturday - Cedar Hills Degen Von Eisentor "Degen" (Preston and PJ son) was Winners Dog for a 3 point major !
He now has 10 points (2 majors).

Saturday - CH. HSS Geistvoll Great Moments "Drake" (YD and Bennie son) was Best of Breed with an entry of 13 Standard Schnauzers.

Cedar Hills Espirit Breckenridge "Breck" (Preston and PJ son) won the Puppy Dog class both Saturday and Sunday AND was Resrerve Winners Dog to the major on Sunday.

Sunday - Cedar Hills Darling Greta "Greta" (Preston and PJ daughter) was Reserve Winners Bitch.

June 7-8, 2008 - McKinley Kennel Club - Canton, Ohio - Shana's Just Ain't Misbehavin "Joey" (Preston and Crispin dughter). . . Winners Bitch Saturday for one point and Sunday Winners Bitch/Best of Winners/Best of Breed (over a special) for two more points. Joey now has 5 points !

July 12-13, 2008 - Cedar Hills Enchanted Yellow Rose "Ellie" (Preston and PJ daughter) was Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex (over a special) for her first point at the Duluth Kennel Club shows in Duluth, MN on Saturday. On Sunday she was Winners Bitch for her second point.

July 16, 2008 - The Canine Chronicle All Breed standings (breed and group wins) for January 1 - June 30, 2008 ranks Preston as #9 Standard Schnauzer.
