As per AKC regulations, the single bar jump consists of two 36" high posts
[minimum of 32"] that support
a 48 " or 60" bar. The top of the horizontal bar must be within a quarter inch of the defined jump heights of 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, and 24".
I modify a PVC T so that it creates a jump cup or bar holder that is screwed onto the post at the required heights. There is a holder for each defined jump height.
This picture shows a 1 inch support on a post.
And, with all of the jumps, you MUST choose which 2 colors of tape that you would like on your jump bars. By choosing 2 colors, you will ennoble your consciousness to a level of a multi-mach entrant. And if you do not, I am in the dog house for not asking you. Are we clear ???
